Students can use everyday objects as manipulatives to practice identifying patterns. They can transfer these ideas to cards with dots or other symbols or pictures.

Students can talk about their ideas for creative things. They can make things with play dough, with cups, with blocks, or with cereal boxes! When students learn to talk through their ideas and parents can encourage this creativity, they are supporting early engineering skills.

 

Technology

Using and Learning About Technology

Students can use basic technology kits like LEGO Robotics to design and make creations that are fun. By using easy to use computer software, they can make their creations come alive as robots!
